The NHCS Advisory Council kicked off the 2010-2011 with a visit to Bradley Creek Elementary School on September 17, 2010. A big thank you to Ms. Tim Dominowski, Principal, for hosting the first school visit of the year. Ms. Dominowski and Mr. Don Cummings, Principal of Virgo Middle School, gave a presentation to The Council on MindSet training for school personnel. MindSet is a curriculum based on clear principles and communication strategies for the prevention of aggressive behavior. In addtion, the curriculum provides certification candidates with specific skills to contain aggressive behavior when it occurs.
